Disc Jockey & Producer

Since 1999, Lawrence has DJed across Central Florida as DJ Dystopic, and produced original electronic music as Xealot.

As of October 2021, he has rebranded both DJ and original production as Florida Regime, with a focus on Trance, Tropical House, and Synthwave genres. Each year he throws a large outdoor Halloween party in Apollo Beach, Florida, which is also livestreamed over Mixcloud. He has DJed at several popular Ybor City clubs, including The Castle, Honeypot, Gaspar’s Grotto, and many more.

Gasparilla Parade Krewe & Charity Work

Starting in 2009, Lawrence worked with Ye Mystic Krewe of the Nautilus, DJing all Gasparilla parades from 2009 to 2019, live on the Nautilus float.

He also provided stage, lighting, and event services pro bono to the One Voice Foundation for several events each year. The One Voice Foundation is a charitable organization affiliated with the Krewe, which helps families who have children afflicted with cancer. He MCed, DJed, and provided all stage, lighting, and sound equipment for many recurring fundraisers and galas.

Racing & Car Shows

Lawrence has been involved in the local Mustang racing and car show community since 2014. He is currently a member of the Wild Stallions club, Pony Up, and the Mustang Club of America.

He has attended several local drag racing events in his blue 2015 Mustang GT, which he has wrenched and built up himself over the course of several years. You can see him at the local Waterset Cars & Coffee event frequently.

Pinball & Arcade

As a lifelong pinball and arcade enthusiast, Lawrence has collected several pinball machines. Fascinated at the inner workings of these complex machines, he has restored older machines, and purchased newer ones to compliment his collection.

He also built, from the ground up, a MAME multicade, using various computer parts inside a custom-built thin line plywood cabinet.

Family Life

Nothing is more important than family life. Lawrence lives in Apollo Beach, Florida with his wife and two children, and enjoys cooling off in the summer with family.
